I'm a passionate hobby photographer living in Switzerland, with a deep love for nature and the great outdoors. My camera is my constant companion, and I find endless beauty in the world around me, from the majestic Swiss landscapes to the quiet details hiding in plain sight.
I'm always on the lookout for a new perspective, a fresh angle that reveals the hidden magic in ordinary scenes. Whether it's the way sunlight filters through leaves, the intricate patterns of a spiderweb, or the vastness of a mountain range, I strive to capture the essence of nature in a way that evokes wonder and appreciation.
But my adventures aren't always solo! I have two wonderful Border Collies who come along whenever possible. Exploring with them adds an extra layer of joy to my photography adventures. They have boundless energy and an infectious enthusiasm for the outdoors, reminding me to appreciate the simple pleasures of nature.

Fotografie, Reisen und die Momente dazwischen
Ich bin Lars, Fotograf aus der Schweiz mit einer besonderen Leidenschaft für Landschafts-, Wildlife- und Reisefotografie.
Fotografie ist für mich eine Möglichkeit, bewusster unterwegs zu sein, Neues zu entdecken und die Umgebung genauer wahrzunehmen. Besonders faszinieren mich Berge, wilde Küsten, wechselndes Wetter und die Art, wie Licht eine vertraute Landschaft vollkommen verändern kann. In der Schweiz liegen Alpen, Seen und Wälder direkt vor meiner Haustür, während mich Reisen immer wieder zu neuen Landschaften und Motiven führen.
Beruflich komme ich aus der Wissenschaft – vielleicht erklärt das auch meine Begeisterung für Details, Technik und Planung. Sobald ich jedoch mit der Kamera draussen unterwegs bin, geht es vor allem darum, einen Ort zu erleben und zu sehen, was sich daraus ergibt, anstatt einfach nur Bilder zu sammeln.
Meine Kameras begleiten mich auf Wanderungen, Roadtrips und Reisen mit meiner Frau und unseren beiden Border Collies. Manche Reisen plane ich gezielt rund um die Fotografie, bei anderen ist die Kamera einfach Teil des Abenteuers.

Photographie, voyages et les moments entre les deux
Je m’appelle Lars, je suis photographe basé en Suisse et passionné par la photographie de paysage, animalière et de voyage.
La photographie est pour moi une façon de ralentir, d’explorer et d’observer plus attentivement ce qui m’entoure. Je suis particulièrement attiré par les montagnes, les côtes sauvages, les changements de météo et la manière dont la lumière peut complètement transformer un paysage familier. Vivre en Suisse me permet de profiter des Alpes, des lacs et des forêts tout près de chez moi, tandis que les voyages m’emmènent vers de nouveaux paysages et de nouvelles rencontres.
Mon parcours professionnel est scientifique, ce qui explique sans doute mon intérêt pour les détails, la technique et la préparation. Mais une fois dehors avec mon appareil photo, il s’agit surtout de vivre un lieu et de découvrir ce qu’il peut offrir plutôt que de simplement collectionner des images.
Mes appareils m’accompagnent lors de randonnées, de road trips et de voyages avec ma femme et nos deux Border Collies. Certains voyages sont organisés autour de la photographie ; pour d’autres, l’appareil photo fait simplement partie de l’aventure.
